The Trevor Project

Keisha Lea, a certified NYS Planner and events decorator, has been a Project Manager in the NYC areas for most of her career.

She is proudly from the borough of Queens, but don’t ask her the differences between streets, roads or avenues. A traveller and seeker of “different,” she knows Long Island the best, and never gets lost on her frequent weekend excursions.

If you ever get her to slow down, and are able to ask her about her true roots, she’ll readily admit that although hailing from NY, she’s also a Southern girl at heart.

Spending her childhood summers amongst the large pecan trees, sweet corn cobs, chicken coops, azalea bushes and the red clay soil of Georgia is where she’s most comfortable. But at home in NY, she’s working to make it her own Southern oasis by planting hybrids of everything in her garden.

She’s currently working on her own book of short stories (unnamed as of yet) about her unbelievable life and the stories she’s been told. Stories she can’t believe were either shared with her, or stories which have come out of some of her real life experiences.

When she’s not busy living a very introverted life, she’s out dancing and planning her next trip to Mexico.
